A textile piece brings together material, design, and work. Blanc Sile Fabrics follows a small-batch approach instead of fast, mass production.
Working with craftspeople
The brand’s existing production story describes working with local craftspeople in Şile, Hatay, Erzurum, and Bayburt. These partnerships make room for traditional weaving knowledge to meet forms intended for contemporary use.
Small batches acknowledge that each piece does not emerge from the same production pace. The texture of the weave and the handwork remain visible parts of the design.
Making room to slow down
This approach aims to give attention to selected materials and the work within the process rather than to produce more. Instead of assuming the same qualities for every item, the product’s own material and care information is the best guide.
