Blanc Sile Fabrics textiles are crafted from 100% natural, unbleached raw cotton and pure linen fibers. With mindful care, their breathable weave and textured feel grow even softer and more distinct with time.
A gentle washing ritual
To preserve the delicate structure of handwoven fibers, we recommend washing at 30°C on a gentle or hand-wash cycle. Mild, plant-based detergents are preferred over harsh bleaches and heavy chemicals.
Fabric softeners are unnecessary, as authentic Şile cloth naturally softens with each rinse while retaining its airy breathability.
Drying and caring
Air-drying flat in shaded breeze protects fiber flexibility better than direct intense sun or machine tumbling. The natural crinkled texture of Şile weaving requires no ironing, though a light steam on low heat while slightly damp works beautifully if desired.
